“And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: …And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron:  and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.”  Charles L. Feinberg’s commentary of this wonder in the King James Bible Commentary, explains how the “great wonder in heaven” is something pointing to a definite subject or object of a woman on earth, but the sign is seen in heaven.  This means ultimately, “God’s purposes concerning her may be made known from heaven”.  God’s purposes for Mattie V. Hollis (1925-2008) were made known from heaven as she was chosen from a babe to adulthood called to be a mother of ten and a mother to many more, an evangelist, and a prophetess (a female prophet) in the Church of God established by Jesus Christ who is the head of the church.  This is a book written in honor of Mattie V. Hollis with contributions by each of her children.  Our angel on earth!
